Learn the difference between cement and concrete at this teacher workshop presented by Women In Mining, and receive a FREE curricula guide with tables listing specific minerals and rocks, their characteristics, plus lesson plans, glossaries, and a historical timeline of cement notes! Plus, participants will tour the CalPortland Plant Oro Grande Cement Plant to see how cement is made from raw materials that are blasted from the mountain side and made into important building material.
