2018 MDAQMD-MEEC Teacher Workshop Flyer

Our informative workshop aims to familiarize educators with the science of air quality. Learn from air quality experts about several air quality topics:

• Air pollutants;
• Sources of air pollution;
• Methods for tracking

and reporting air quality;

• Health impacts of air pollution;
• High Desert citizens’ role in air quality.

The workshop will include a demonstration of a classroom-ready depiction of smog, a brief presentation from our Community Relations and Education team and a session with an MDAQMD Air Quality Instrument Technician.
