Help your students get ready for Earth Day 2016 with the “At Work For A Better World” Essay Contest sponsored by The Boeing Company!! Download the complete flyer
Every April 22, communities across the country celebrate Earth Day. In 1970, the year of our first Earth Day, the movement gave voice to an increasing awareness toward environmental issues including clean air, clean water and protecting endangered species. We are now entering the 46th celebration of Earth Day and the movement continues to inspire, challenge ideas, ignite passion, and motivate people to work towards a better world! Earth Day gives us a chance to reflect on the ways that we have helped create a cleaner and greener world and allows us to set goals on how we can continue to do the same in the upcoming year.
In 500 words or less, describe your vision of new and creative ways to help your community work towards a cleaner, greener, better world. What type of changes would you like to see that could really make a difference on Earth Day and everyday?
