“Introduction to Maker Edcuation For Grades 3-12”

CALLING ALL INVENTORS, DESIGNERS AND TINKERERS!

The “Maker Movement” is sweeping across the country and is the cutting-edge way to engage your students in hands-on, real-world problem-solving while applying their working knowledge of  STEM skills.  

Join us for a three-hour introductory workshop on Maker Education and the Maker Movement!

Learn to incorporate “Maker Education” into you STEM curriculum and how to advance your Service-Learning and Project Based Learning experiences and simple ways to turn your students into “makers”.  Attendees  will be introduced to the “maker space” concept, see a working “maker space” and learn how to develop their own space for their students on a budget!

Two workshop dates are available for you to choose from.
Each workshop is limited to the first 20 educators who register.
Educators must bring a laptop to the workshop.
